I reached out to your practice for a second opinion when I was told my 25 year old horse was in bad shape and I was being advised as to the “humane thing to do.” Colton came out and unfortunately, drew the same conclusion… He gave her a shot of Dexamethasone for her discomfort and I said “will this buy her some more time? And he kindly responded no, it is to buy you some more time.” That was on a Monday… by Friday that same week, Colton was back with his team to put my dear Lexi out of pain… The compassion and the professionalism of the entire team was absolutely heart warming!!! Though it was a horrible experience for me and my family, Colton and his team made it the most peaceful passing over “Rainbow Bridge” that I could have ever imagined! - Jennifer B.We love these vets! They work together as a team. We have a performance horse who likes to drag her back legs sometimes. We had her xrayed and lameness tested. They found a fragment in her stifle. That meant a possibility of surgery! Instead of scheduling that, they did more test to make 100 percent sure if it was affecting her or not. It was not at all so they said no need to touch it. In the future hock and stifle injections but until then she is great. We appreciate the time and care they all had invested in this beautiful mare of our. She’s 100% sound and just likes to be lazy sometimes.
