Fountain of Youth NecklaceI think wed had too many Aperols in the piazza when we fell in love with the Fontana del Nettuno. It felt like the birth of the universe, larger than life and springing forth with exuberance wed never felt before. The wildness of it, the generosity. We learned the word luxuriant that summer, rolling the Rs in our mouths and toasting each other under the apricot trees and among the statuary, swimming in the fountain in the center of the garden, playing
