Carved Mexican Carnival Mask in Bold Red and Blue PaintThis mask, Mexican I believe, and I think likely Guerrero, is all about the red and sky blue paint for me great color, great surface, and surely we all need a second pair of eyes. I believe the red indicates it as a Moor mask, used in dances representing fighting between the Christians and the Moors (Muslims). It appears to have been worn and with a good bit of age to it, with remnants of string at the temples on the back. 6" t x 4 3 8" measured
