Golden RaintreeGrown for its showy yellow flowers which hang in clusters in early June in our area. Flowers then change into attractive seed pods and remain on the trees until fall. Leaves turn bright yellow, with orange undertones before dropping for winter. Leaves reappear in early spring. Golden Raintrees and Chinese Flame Trees are favorites of garden designer, Dabney Peeples. The two trees are very similar and one is often substituted for the other.
