Sorrento ware Jewellery BoxA beautiful example of an early to mid 19th century Sorrento ware box from Italy, made from solid olive wood. This is an early piece and handmade not to be confused with later more modern boxes. This incredible box is in good condition with a key. The figurative group on the top is a mixture of inlaid woods including beautiful green Harewood making up the figures onto solid olive wood. This box would make a wonderful jewellery box.
