The piece was made and hallmarked in Birmingham, England in 1952 1953 as indicated by the hallmarks on the back of the heart shaped lock. The lock has a safety chain running through the centre of the piece , the locket is easy to open yet secure. The double link chain is hallmarked intermittently down the chain with a lion, indicating the piece is sterling silver. MEASUREMENTS The chain measures 18cm
