Oil Painting Basics with Shushana RuckerThis course will introduce students to the basics of oil painting. Students will learn how to handle materials, mix colors, and build a painting from start to finish. The tools and processes covered are adaptable for use in a home studio setup. Techniques will include color mixing, brushwork, layering, and basic surface preparation. Students will work from simple observation and or reference while developing an understanding of value and composition.
