Founded in 2009 by Dr. Alberto Rullan, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine, Performance Equine Veterinary Services embodies a commitment to excellence in treating performance-related equine problems. Dr. Rullan’s extensive training, including an internship at Louisiana State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Clinic, underpins our clinic’s approach to equine care.
Dr. Rullan, alongside his accomplished colleagues Dr. Alfredo Lichoa, and Dr. Colton Ramstrom, the team continuously expands their veterinary expertise. Their focus includes advanced studies in equine rehabilitation, lameness diagnostics, stem cell and regenerative therapies for injury treatment and recovery. Committed to global equine welfare, Dr. Rullan actively volunteers with the Equitarian Initiative. This non-profit organization provides veterinary care to horses in underserved communities and educates local populations in primary veterinary care.
